Dear Editor:



Several concerned citizens have approached me about the drought we are having. They want to keep the water in the Archusa Reservoir, which is now nearly full.

These citizens of Quitman and Clarke County may need the water if the drought continues. Pat Harrison Waterway System has a policy of plans to release the water Dec. 1 downstream … open the flood gates. That don’t need to happen because the citizens of Quitman and Clarke County need that water. This letter is to bring action to leave the water at its present level until further notice.
