Members of the 4-H Photography Club prepared boxes for “Operation Christmas Child” at the Oct. 29, 2007, meeting.

Two shoe boxes were filled with items for the project. Afterwards, members strung pretzels on strings to decorate the Tree for the Birds for the upcoming Trees of Christmas Tour at Merrehope.

The meeting opened with Lydia Burns, president, calling it to order, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Natalie Gross. Sarah Burns presented the devotional “God Cares for You” from I Peter 5:7.

During the business session, Lydia Burns read the minutes and Rachel Laird presented the treasurer’s report.

The club’s next meeting will be Nov. 26 at 5:30 p.m. at Wayne Rawson’s Portrait Studio.
