Paula Joyner of East Mississippi Animal Rescue displays some items available during the organization’s “tail wagging” fun scheduled to be had at its soon-to-be annual Cock”tail” Party on Thursday at The Landing, 5005 Highway 493 North. The event will feature drinks, appetizers, entertainment, and a silent auction. The items up for bid include trips, jewelry, home furnishings, art work, and more. Enjoy wine and beer from 5 p.m.-6 p.m., with the silent auction from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. A $10 donation includes entry into the event, appetizers, and two drink tickets.
