PHILADELPHIA — Services for Elvie Eugene “Jimbo” Byrd will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. James Dearing officiating. Burial will be in Longino Cemetery.

Mr. Byrd, 62, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, in his home.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Byrd; step-sons, Robert Myers and Ernest White; one sister; three brothers; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
