CELEBRITY JUDGES

celebrated Halloween with their annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. Sixteen

departments competed, and awards were given out for Best Carved Pumpkin, Best Painted Pumpkin, Best Pumpkin Scene, and Best of Show. Short Stay Surgery was the big winner of the day and will receive a pizza party and bragging rights for the next year.



Other category winners include:

Best Carved Pumpkin:

First Place – Administration, for a Riley Hospital My Choice carved pumpkin

Runner Up – Radiology, for a breast cancer ribbon carved pumpkin.

Best Painted Pumpkin:

First Place – Human Resources, for a haunted scenes painted pumpkin

Runner Up – Outpatient Rehabilitation, for “Spider-Pumpkin” (painted to look

like Spiderman)

Best Pumpkin Scene:

First Place – Short Stay Surgery, for a Black Magic (Cat) Woman (that actually played the song!) and Pumpkin Tuxedo Man Scene

Runner Up – Plant Operations for Pumpkin Maintenance Man who even had plunger legs!
