Kelley Suzanne Wright and Christopher Scott Ryan, both of Byram, were married on Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Mammoth Hot Springs Chapel in Yellowstone Park, Wyo., with the Rev. Dr. William R. Young officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward G. Wright of Quitman and Rachel Smith of Raymond.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Wright of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Odell Weaver of Meridian.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Sally Ryan of Bentonia and the late William Ryan.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Cheryl Young of Gardiner, Mont., organist.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory A-line gown. For her headpiece, she wore an elbow-length veil of silk illusion. The bride carried a bouquet of multi-colored roses with baby’s breath.
Tara Leslie of West Yellowstone, Wyo., served as maid of honor. Robin Ryan of Jackson served as best man.
After the ceremony, the couple and wedding party were transported to the reception at The Lighthouse in Corwin Springs, Mont., by Yellowstone’s recently renovated 1938 white touring wagon. It is again used by the park for touring purposes.
Assisting at the reception were Pam Rudolph of Gardiner.
A rehearsal dinner was held on the eve of the wedding at Yellowstone Mine Restaurant in Gardiner.
After a honeymoon in Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota, the couple resides in Byram.
