The Extreme Tour

So, you’re sitting in your recliner and have absolutely nothing planned for your Saturday. Well, there may be a solution. The Extreme Tour.

Scheduled for two stops this weekend, The Extreme Tour is a group of Christian bands spanning many different musical styles including Punk, Rock, and Hip-hop.

Libby Nutter helped bring the tour to the Meridian area and she says she’s excited about the tour coming here.

“This is such an awesome group of guys who love the Lord, and really show it with their dedication and music. I am so excited to have them,” Nutter said. “There will be at least eight bands that will be performing. The first performance will be at the Meridian Naval Air Station tonight at 5 p.m. Then they will be at Centerhill Refuge Skatepark at 6 p.m.”

If the other reason you were counting on a boring weekend is because of a negative cash flow, then you’ve just run out of excuses as the concert is free.

Nutter said it was a last minute decision for the group to decide to stop by the queen city.

“It’s a real dynamic program, and I wanted to make sure I got them here,” Nutter explained. “Their mission is to get the word out about Jesus and just get the Gospel out there.”

The Extreme Tour is a non-profit organization that desires to get their message out by any means necessary that doesn’t compromise the Word of God.

If you would like to attend you can either see them tonight at Naval Air Station Meridian at 5 p.m. or you can wait until Sunday at 6 p.m. when they will be at the Centerhill Skate Park located at 8388-A Centerhill road right off of Highway 495 behind the Shell station.
