The Supreme Council of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Washington, D.C. has identified six members of the Meridian Scottish Rite Valley to be honored in ceremonies this fall. The method of recognizing members who diligently pursue and practice the teachings of the Scottish Rite is unique in Freemasonry. Every two years members are selected who have demonstrated their dedication to Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Freemasonry in general, and service to their country and or community. The number of men who receive these honors is very small and they must receive an unanimous vote from the national governing body. The Meridian Valley of the Scottish Rite has 537 members and is very proud to announce that Danny Alexander, Scott McQuaig, and Steve Pike will receive the 32nd degree KCCH (Knight Commander Court of Honor) in ceremonies to be held at Hamasa Temple on Dec. 8, 2007.

Tim Donaldson, Ed Lightsey, and Joe Sneed have been selected for the 33rd degree (Inspector General Honorary) and last degree in Scottish Rite Masonry. Tim Donaldson will be honored in Washington D.C. in August 2007. Ed Lightsey and Joe Sneed will be honored in Atlanta, in November 2007.
