Pearson David Aderholt
A private family graveside service for Pearson David Aderholt will be held today at 11 a.m. at Cokes Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Buchanan officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Infant Aderholt, of Cuba, Ala., died Saturday, April 5, 2007, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include his parents, James David and Jennifer Andrews Aderholt, of Cuba, grandparents, Dean and Kelly Andrews of Vicksburg, Doc and Allison Stephens of Meridian and Jo Harwell Beard and her husband, Bo, of York, Ala.; aunts, Kim and Jackie Smith of York, Ala., Natalie and John Boland of Vicksburg and Courtney and Greg Pickering of Vicksburg; uncles, Ricky Aderholt of Durham, N.C. and Ronnie Harwell and his wife, Linda, of York, Ala. Jay Harwell and his wife, Sharon, of Cuba, Rusty Harwell and his wife, Jo, of Fairhope, Ala., and Joe Aderholt and his wife, Wendy, of Cullman, Ala. and Dean Andrews and his wife, Nadia, of Vicksburg.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronald Harwell and an infant brother, David Harwell Aderholt.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or a church youth group of choice.

BUTLER, Ala. — Services for Emrell S. “G” Glosson Jr. will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Butler City Cemetery.
Mr. Glosson, 72, of Butler, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Miss.
Survivors include his wife, Zona Glosson; sons, Chipper Glosson and Timmy Glosson; a daughter, Penny Caldwell; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother and three sisters.
Visitation will be today from noon until service time at the funeral home.
John Wilson Thompson
Graveside services for John Wilson Thompson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Harrison officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Thompson, 68, of Beaumont, Texas, formerly of Meridian, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas.
Survivors include his daughters, Toni Lynn Applewhite of Byrum, Vicki Leigh Thompson of Foley, Ala. and Tracy Mize of Birmingham, Ala.; a brother, Bud Thompson and his wife, Sue, of Meridian and grandchildren, Michael Applewhite and Daniel Applewhite, both of Byrum, Zachery and Joshua Taylor Mize of Birmingham, Ala. and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Applewhite.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Falba Thompson.

YORK, Ala. — Services for Robert Benjamin Elliott will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Livingston Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Elliott, 76, of Livingston, died Monday, May 7, 2007, in his home. He was a veteran of the US. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise Elliott; a son James Elliott and a daughter, Elizabeth Stone and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Phillips, 76, of Collinsville, died Monday, May 7, 2007, in her home.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane Phillips Campe and her friend, Ben Pittman of Collinsville; sons, Malcolm Steven Phillips and his wife, Sherrie, of Collinsville and Lt. Col. David Stanley Phillips of the U.S. Marine Corps of New Orleans; grandchildren, Hollie Astridge and her husband, Danny, of Colorado, Heidi Woolworth and her husband, Steve, of Texas, Krystina Phillips Hardenbrook and her husband, James, of North Carolina, Stefanie Phillips Jenkins and her husband, Jimmy, and Lynn Manis, all of Collinsville, Shannon Moseley and her husband, Steven, of San Angelo, Texas and John Campe of Collinsville; a brother, Murrel Tolbert and his wife, Faye, of Duffee and a sister, Ruth Hand of the Martin Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Malcolm Edward Phillips and her parents, George and Leanah Tolbert.
Pallbearers will be John Campe, Lynn Manis, Steven Manis, Jonathon Davis, Jimmy Jenkins, Doug Savell, James Joyner and Mike Tolbert.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Willis, 73, of Philadelphia, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia.

Services for Annie M. Wright will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Douglas Wright Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wright, 74, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
She was married to the Rev. Clovis Wright, a retired United Methodist pastor. She worked diligently as a dutiful wife, mother, homemaker and servant of the Lord. She traveled with and supported her husband in life and ministry at various churches and pastorates of the United Methodist Church and others throughout the state of Mississippi for more than 40 years. She was a part of the United Methodist Women and the United Methodist Ministers Wives as well as a faithful attendee and delegate to the United Methodist Annual Conference. She worked for Maywebb Knitting Mills for many years before retiring in 1989. She was known throughout the community as a person who loved to give of herself to others through her many acts and deeds of kindness. She was a mother to all she met and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband of more than 58 years, the Rev. Clovis Wright of Meridian; children, Annie Cherry of Quintin, N.J., Shirley Loper of Hickory, Douglas Wright and his wife, Rosalind, of Jasper, Texas, Lillian Lee and her husband, Nathaniel, of Memphis, Tenn., Mamie Walker and her husband, Bob, of Hickory, Sandra Casper and her husband, Alton, of Augusta, Ga., Gloria Christian and her husband, Wilson, of Marion, Evelyn King and her husband, John, of Hickory, Clovis Wright and his wife, Tisha, of Olive Branch, Christopher Wright and his wife, Valeria, of Clinton and Timothy Wright of Memphis; sisters, Daisy Johnson and Etoria Bester, both of Newton, Hattie Snow and Mildred Kennedy of Rose Hill, Cora Brown Byrd of Hattiesburg, Gladys Davis and Addie Bogan, both of Chicago, Alma McMillan of Detroit; brothers, Ben Avery Chapman and his wife, Betty and Clarence Chapman, all of Hattiesburg; 38 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins, surrogate children, god-children and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by three children.
Visitation will be today from 1 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home and Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.

Mrs. Dearing, 44, of Newton, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a member of Goodwater Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Barry E. Dearing of Newton; children, Darren Lee Dearing, Derek “Bo” Dearing and Courtney Mae Dearing, all of Newton; her parents, James and Linda Lee of Jackson; a sister, Debbie Lee of Jackson and a brother, Mike Lee of Midland, Texas.
Visitation will be Thursday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Flinchum, 64, of Meridian, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was manager of McGinnis Distributing.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Flinchum of Meridian and a daughter, Cindy Kennedy of Stonewall.
