The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Monday and 3:37 p.m. Tuesday.



• Contempt of court — Rodriqus Roberts, 29, 4023 Butts Road, Toomsuba

• Contempt of court — Aaron Tillman, 33, 4403 Terry Street

• Public drunk — Scottie Simmons, 38, 1045 20th Street. Simmons is also charged with disorderly conduct and failure to obey law enforcement officer.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Monday and 3:37 p.m. Tuesday.



• Driving under the influence second offense (DUI) — Ronald Hopson, 38, 295 Dan Whisett Road, Porterville. Hopson is also charged with careless driving, driving with suspended license due to DUI and switched tag.

• Possession of methamphetamine — Pamela Hodge, 37, 5351 Highway 496, Toomsuba

• Contempt of court — Marvin Craig, 33, 903 23rd Street. Craig is also charged with false ID information

• Probation violation — Sanchez Stribling, 30, 1911 Martin Luther King Drive

• Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute — Donny Hardy, 44, 7401 Old Highway 80 West

• Sale of marijuana — Marcus D. Blakely, 32, 1901 36th Ave.

• Vulnerable adult abuse, neglect and exploitation — Arnold Brown, 40, 4415 Paulding St. Brown is also charged with possession of controlled substance.

• Felony bad check — Tonya Dixon, 31, 141 Timothy Road, Cuba, Ala.

• Domestic violence — Richard Anthony, 35, 9357 James Drive, Collinsville. Anthony is also charged with contempt of court.

• Domestic violence — Jimmy Jenkins, 21, 11350 Julius Tucker Drive, Collinsville
