Randy Wright of Bailey and Bob and Cathy Riley of Quitman announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Lowetta Wright of Pensacola, Fla., to John David Lopez, son of John Dale and Romana Lopez of Pensacola.

The wedding will be held Saturday, May 5, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at Pensacola Beach.

Ms. Wright is the granddaughter of Thelma Suitor of Meridian and the late the Rev. Roy Suitor and the late G.W. and Laverda Wright.

Mr. Lopez is the grandson of Brunette Guidry of Pensacola and the late John Guidry and Nellie Pennell of Port Arthur, Texas and the late Mercy Lopez.

A reception will be held at Hemmingways following the ceremony.
