America has a  ton  of young leaders and the WOW!  Girls Jr.  Sorority is looking for them.

WOW!  Girls,  also known as America’s  Teen  Dream  Team,  is  conducting a  countrywide search for young ladies ages 9-18  to join their leadership organization. The  organization  is  looking  for  girls  who have  the  “WOW!  factor”  and  who can  represent America in various leadership activities

  Although it took the  Girl Scouts a  while to hit the  100,000-member mark,  this new age girls  organization  hopes to set the  world record in two  weeks. 

The  WOW!  Girls  Jr.  Sorority is holding  a  recruitment period   through April 16 in 45  US cities and  via their Web site at www.wowgirls.clubexpress.com. 

“We  are very excited about the recruitment period,”  WOW!  Girls  founder Katrina  Callaway said. 

“Our  organization  is  a  positive influence for  many  young  lives,” Calloway said.  “If  Oprah  can  create  a  leadership  academy  for  young  ladies  in  South  Africa,  we  feel  that  it  is  time  to establish  a  strong  leadership  organization  for  our  young  ladies  in  America.”

  WOW! members  participate  in  a  fun  and  exciting  club  where  they  assist  with  making  decisions  for  young  people  all  over  the  world, she said.  The  girls  are  scheduled  to  tackle  projects  such  as  giving  their  opinions  on  different  laws  in  our  country,  helping  the  fashion  industry  choose  the  hottest  teen  fashions,  performing  community  service,  learning  leadership  skills,  etiquette  skills,  communication  skills  and  more.
