Butts, Sanders

Jennifer Lynn Sanders of Memphis, Tenn. and Robert Anthony Butts of Dallas were married on Aug. 19, 2006, on the steps of Stanton Hall in Natchez with the Rev. Jeffery Scott Lindsay officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James Larry Sanders of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ray Butts of Prattville, Ala.

Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Porter James of Pennington, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. David Lindell Sanders of Halsell, Ala.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Charles Yancey of Prattville, Ala. and the late Mr. Yancey and Mrs. Charles Butts of Montgomery, Ala. and the late Mr. Butts.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Sylvia Ritchie, pianist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a taffeta strapless gown with a dropped waist and a pick-up skirt. The bodice was adorned with crystals. The skirt had crystal appliqus at the gathers and flowed into a chapel-length train.

Andrea Leigh Delaney of Meridian was maid of honor. Susan Andress Rogers of Prattville, was bridesmaid.

The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Charles Michael Butts of Douglasville, Ga. and Douglas Glenn Sanders of Morton and James Randall Sanders of Meridian.

Program attendants were Angela Michelle Sanders and Lauren Gabriel Sanders.

A reception was held at the Carriage House Restaurant in Natchez following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Memphis, Tenn.
