BILLINGS, Mont. — Kampgrounds of America Inc. recently honored Lionel and Christine Waldman of Meridian East/Toomsuba KOA with the President’s Award for their outstanding customer service and campground facility.

The Kampgrounds of America President’s Award recognizes campgrounds that receive exceptional scores on their quality assurance facilities review and for being a positive part of the KOA system.

As part of this award, winners will receive special signs, flags and nametags for their campground and staff to denote their status as a KOA President Award winner.

The winning campgrounds also increased the system-wide benchmark for overall satisfaction on their annual camper satisfaction surveys received from their own camping guests. The survey showed an industry leading overall 8-point increase in guest satisfaction 2006.

“Our KOA owners, managers and their staffs work hard to provide a great camping experience for all their guests,” says Shane Ott, KOA president.

“We honor the Meridian East/Toomsuba KOA with the President’s award and recognize them for their top-notch facility and for delivering the best camping experience possible.”
