Lamorris and Gloria Lewis of Carmichael announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica La’Shay Howze to De’Ontae Coleman, son of Roosevelt and Eola Coleman of Meridian.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at 4 p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Meridian.

Miss Howze is the granddaughter of the late Porterfield Powe and Clara Powe of Carmichael, and the late Lillie Mae Lewis of Quitman.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Quitman High School and is pursuing a pharmacy degree. She is a member of the Agape Store House Apostolic Church.

Mr. Coleman is the grandson of the late Link Knox and Frances Knox of Winona and the late Milton Coleman and Viola Ruffin of Russell.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2001 graduate of Meridian High School. He attends Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where he is active in the mass choir and the male chorus.

He is pursuing a career in computer network at the University of Phoenix.
