City sets Hazardous Waste Day

The City of Meridian will hold another Household Hazardous Waste Day this Saturday in order to encourage local residents to safely dispose of hazardous materials.
Staff will be at the Public Works Complex, located at 311 27th Avenue South, from 8 a.m. until noon to receive hazardous waste from residents.
Items that may be brought to the complex for disposal include aerosol cans, paint thinner, drain openers, antifreeze, used oil, tires, yard and garden pesticides, paint, corrosives, solvents, batteries and oil filters.
