Adrienne S. McAllister of Meridian and LaTorro D. Bailey of Meridian were married on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at New Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Coleman officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McAllister and Velma Bailey and Steve McGlothin.

Grandparent of the bride is Nannie McAllister.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Addie McGlothin and Velma Bailey.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Shederick Waters, vocalist and piano and Evay Blanks, vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a ballgown of black and white chiffon and taffeta that featured a drawstring back and miniature pearls and sequins. She wore an heirloom tiara.

Tracey M. Johnson, of Chicago, served as maid of honor.

Other attendants were Sharday Williamson of Ohio, Sheena Davis and Sandra Forbes, both of Hattiesburg, Jessica Simpson of Starkville, Tiffany Woods of North Carolina and Lacey Bailey of Meridian.

Ariann Jones , Orlandrya Rue and Santrell McGlothin, all of Meridian, served as flower girls.

Corey Blakney of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were, Shawn Welch of Gulfport, Mosell Davis of Hattiesburg, Pete Bailey, James Lewis, Gavin McAllister and Travis Wilson, all of Meridian.

Austin Jones and Jamal Cole of Meridian were ring bearers.

Program attendants were Alma King, Brenda King, Glenda King, Vivian Davis, Felicia Edwards, Kaiesha Harris, and Marcus Keeton.

A reception was held at Quality Inn Ballroom following the ceremony.

Assisting at the reception were Joanne Bell, Hattie McGlothin, Sabrielle McGlothin, Shirley Jackson, Betty Williamson, Patricia Edwards, Annie Woods, Kelli Williamson and Johnny Mack.

After a honeymoon in Pensacola, Fla., the couple resides in Meridian.
