Tony and Darlene Eiland of Starkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Brooke Eiland to Trenton J. Hughes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hughes of Meridian.

The wedding will be Friday, June 9, 2006 at 6 p.m. at the home of the bride-elect’s parents, 1815 Lakeview Drive in Starkville with the Rev. Junior Davis officiating.

Miss Eiland is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charlene and Clarence Crossley and the late Mr. Brooklyn Peeler of Starkville and Mrs. Willie Mae Moore of Starkville and the late Mr. Curtis Eiland.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Starkville High School and she attended East Mississippi Community College. While attending EMCC she was on the Dean’s List.

Miss Eiland is employed by Bella Nova Salon as a cosmetologist.

Mr. Hughes is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Todd of Hero and Mrs. Faye Thrash of Meridian.

The bridegroom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Clarksdale High School and a 2005 graduate of Mississippi State University. While attending MSU he was a Dean’s List student and graduated Cum Laude.

Mr. Hughes is employed by KALB TV station in Alexandria, La., as a meteorologist.

A reception will be held at the Starkville Country Club.
