Susanna Jaqua Johnson and William Albin Bruwer, both of Atlanta, were married on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at Five J. Farm in Meridian, with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Paul Johnson of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hix of Atlanta and William Albin Bruwer Jr. of Raleigh, N.C.

Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Ernest Paul Johnson and the late Mr. Johnson and James Wesley Harvey and the late Mrs. Harvey and Mrs. Francis Palmer Jaqua and the late Mr. Jaqua, all of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Althea Sigothy of Burlington, N.C., and the late William Albin Bruwer Sr. of Raleigh and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Arthur Wells.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Joel Johnson, flautist, and her son, Ben, cellist, and daughters, Jenna and K.K., vocalists.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory two-piece strapless silk shantung gown with a tucked skirt accented with matching flowers.

Lacey Johnson of Meridian was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Brunelle of Atlanta and Merrick Greene Jackson of Hattiesburg.

Junior attendants were Kate Johnson, Bailey Weddington, Chloe Johnson and William Johnson, all of Meridian.

The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Mike Pollock of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Mark Pollock of Atlanta.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Five J. Farm. Hosts were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Johnson, aunt and uncle of the bride, and the bride’s parents.

After a honeymoon in Mazatlan, Mexico, the couple will reside in Raleigh,N.C.
