Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:40 p.m. Thursday.
• Contempt of court — Lionell Jordan, 50, 2702 11th St. Apt. 5.
• Contempt of court, four counts — Marzelle Payne, 28, 2318 35th Ave. Payne is also charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
• Contempt of court, three counts — Archie Daniels, 26, 205 Wildwood Perry, Jackson.
• Malicious mischief — Tommy Portis, 47, 10415 Rabbit Road. Portis is also charged with contempt of court.
• Domestic violence — Quinton Robinson, 24, 1119 46th Ave.
• Trespassing — Tryvone Young, 24, 1704 19th St.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following incidents between 3:54 p.m. Wednesday and 3:40 p.m. Thursday. The following suspected non-traffic violations include arrests made by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the Marion Police Department.
• Driving under the influence, first offense — Thomas Davis, 55, 1802 Clearview Parkway.
• Receiving stolen property, three counts — Ronald McDevitt, 40, 669 Mitchem Road.
• DUI, second offense — Amanda Sumrall, 38, 4715 13th Ave.
• DUI, first offense — David Ford, 42, 4294 Highway 19 South. Ford is also charged with contempt of court.
• DUI, first offense – Theda Culpepper, 53, 1666 East Skyline Road.
• DUI, first offense — Wallace Hatcher, 70, 2180 Campground Road, Lauderdale.
• DUI, first offense — Ricky Ezelle, 49, 6591 Highway 19 North.

The Kimberly Carter listed in Thursday public record as being charged with shoplifting is not the Kimberly Carter, 29, who lives at 10152 Woods Road and works at Ludlow Coated Products. The Meridian Star is happy to clarify the record.
