Heather Ann Holifield and Graham Daniel Behringer of Meridian were married on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Steve Holifield and Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Behringer of Brandon.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. O.R. Holifield of Laurel, the late Ruth R. Thornton of Jackson and the late Charlie M. Thornton Jr. of Clinton.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Feld of Meridian, the late Claude Graham of Lake Charles, La. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Behringer of Loyal, Wis.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Jerald Bailey, trumpeter; Mariam Chesney, organist; Barry Germany, pianist; Susie Johnson, flautist; Stephanie Garrett-Maisel, cellist and Ty Maisel, violinist. Vocalists were Kelsey Carroll of Jackson and Joanna Gaston of Mendenhall.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory gown that featured an empire waistline. The bodice featured hand beading and hand embroidery that repeated on the hemline. The A-line skirt swept into a semi-cathedral train.

Maid of honor was Holly Ruth Holifield of Meridian. Other attendants were Sarah Jane Guerin of Hammond, La., Brittney Lane Hollis of Birmingham, Ala., Katie Elizabeth Pigford and Melissa Shey Powell, both of Jackson, Mary Ann Kahlmus of Nashville, Tenn., and Katherine Elizabeth Waters of Columbus. Honorary bridesmaids were Jennifer Leigh Barry of Nashville and Betsy Eggleston Waters of Columbus.

The bride’s proxy was Lauren Blair Bagley of Meridian.

The flower girl was Anna Claire Pecunia of Hattiesburg.

Best man was Danny Elmer Behringer of Brandon. Groomsmen and ushers were Adam Stephenson Mitchell of Nashville, Charles Louis Rogers III, of Hattiesburg, James Perry Hicks of Philadelphia, Phillip James Culpepper, Matthew Reid Davis and Justin Chord Robinson, all of Meridian.

Ring bearers were Logan Cole Fitzpatrick of New Orleans, John Morris Pecunia and Jackson Richard Pecunia, all of Hattiesburg.

Reader was Lauren Reece of Meridian.

Program and registry attendants were Laura Bagley, Sarah Finley, Laura Finley and Molli Thornton.

A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon in New York, N.Y., the couple resides in Meridian.
