QUITMAN — Services for Janice Evelyn Mott will be held today at 2 p.m. at Souenlovie Baptist Church with the Revs. Parker Chancellor and Dennis Coats officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wright’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mott, 52, of Enterprise, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in her home.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Mott of Enterprise; sons, Charly Fowler and Walt Fowler, both of Enterprise; daughters, Angel Bradley of Union, Jeana Brooks of Rose Hill and Tonya Cox of Enterprise; a sister, Debra Davis of Rose Hill; three grandchildren and a special caregiver, Irene Upton.
Pallbearers will be Charly Fowler, Jason Davis, Johnnie Bradley, Walt Fowler, Jamie Davis and Phillip Brooks.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

Services for Lillian Hensley Ray will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill-Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Ray, 87, of Roswell, Ga., formerly of Meridian, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, in Roswell. She was retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company after more than 36 years of service. She was a charter member of State Boulevard Baptist Church in Meridian.
Survivors include her brother, Marion R. Hensley of Meridian; a son, John E. Ray Jr., of Roswell; grandchildren, Debra L. Horton of Sumter, S.C., David A. Ray of Morgantown, W.V., Katie E. Burrell and Jennifer L. Walter, both of Roswell and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Ray.
Pallbearers will be Ken Burrell, Nick Hensley, David Horton, Doug Quinn, David R. Ray and Nicholas Walter.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Young, 71, of Noxapater, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006, in her home.

NEWTON — Services for Lillian R. Cork will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Frank Harmon officiating. Burial will be in Newton Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Cork, 99, of Newton, died Monday, April 3, 2006, at Newton Regional Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Dorcus-Faith Sunday School Class. She was a past member of Newton Culture Club. She was a member of Liberty Community Club and the Ladies Auxiliary “Pink Ladies” of Newton Regional Hospital.
Survivors include her daughters, Jo C. Freeman of West Point and Ann Cork of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, JoAnn Tisdale, Lillian Trahan and John Freeman and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Arnold Cork.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.- 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

LUMBERTON — Services for Claude Rogers Sr. will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at White Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Kelly officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Carnes Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Rogers, 92, of Wiggins, died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Stone County Medical Center in Wiggins. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Minnie Lee Rogers; children, Claudine Rogers, Claude Rogers Jr., Frances Idom and Dixie Rogers; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Plummer, 73, of Pachuta, died Thursday, March 30, 2006, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Military.

Mr. Simmons, 55, died Monday, April 3, 2006, in North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Claire Simmons; sons, Blake Simmons and Patrick Simmons; his mother, Ouida Simmons of Meridian; one brother; one sister; one uncle and one aunt.
He was preceded in death by his father, Blake Hanlon Simmons.
