Major League Soccer in Mississippi
Major League Soccer is coming to Ridgeland with Major League Soccer teams Chicago Fire and Club Deportivo Chivas in an exhibition game on March 25, with a kickoff at 7:30 p.m. at Freedom Ridge Park. Sunfish Duathlon 5K Run/30 K Bike/1/5 mile run

Okatibbee Lake Spring Classic Bass Tournament
This tournament will be held on April 8, at Oakatibbee Lake in Meridian at the Water Park Landing. This tournament is sponsored by Russell Christian Academy Athletic Booster Club. Entry fee is $120 per boat. Call Steve Wilson at 601-632-1273.

Disabled American Veterans Two-Person Scramble
This tournament will be held on March 25-26, at Ponta Creek Golf Course at Naval Air Station Meridian. Cost is $75 per player and has a 9 a.m. shotgun start both days. Call 601-485-6021.

Clarke County Relay For Life Golf Tournament
This three-person scramble will be held April 15 at Cedar Creek Golf Course at Quitman Country Club. Cost is $150 per team. Registration is 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and tee times are 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. all proceeds go to Clarke County Relay For Life. UWA/Coca-Cola Golf Tournament for Academic Excellence

Registration for North Meridian Optimist youth girls softball has been extended to March 24. Registration can be done at Southern Sportsman and/or Judge Little. The National Guard Association Fun Run
The National Guard Association of Mississippi is having a two mile fun run at Northside Park in Philadelphia on April 21, at 3:30 p.m. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. This cost is $10 pre registration and $13 on day of race.
