Regan Jill Aycock of Meridian and Peter Baxter Fargason of Fairhope, Ala., were married Saturday, Sept. 17, 2005, at First Baptist Church, Meridian, with the Rev. Dr. Raymon Leake officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Earl Aycock Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Robinson Fargason.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Alexander Crane and Mary Aycock and the late Sidney Earl Aycock Sr. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. James Earl Faulkner.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. James Edwin Fargason and Mrs. Richard Howard Baxter and the late Mr. Richard Howard Baxter.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, pianist; Miriam Chesney, organist; Jimmy Crane, violinist; and Charles Gates, trumpeter; Susie Johnson, flautist; and Trey Finch and Amy Jackson, vocalists.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a candlelight strapless gown with beading and pearl sequins. The full skirt extended into a cathedral-length train. For her headpiece, she wore a fingertip-length veil of tulle.

Maid of honor was Anna Victoria Aycock of Meridian, sister of the bride. Other attendants were Mary Cecil Brown and Sara Elizabeth Turner, both of New York, N.Y.; Abby Diann Crane of Starkville; Stephanie Michelle Enloe, Mary-Kathryn Moore and Collin Linville Sawyer, all of Memphis; Lindsey McDill Joiner of Meridian; Katie Lynn Merriwether of Atlanta; and Lori Elizabeth Weems of Jackson.

James Robinson Fargason of Fairhope served his brother as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Christain Joseph Follmer of New York; Gaylord Clark Lyon III of Charleston, S.C.; Harry Ryan Mattei of Athens, Ga.; Carroll Turnley Pattoni of Nitta Yuma; Peyton Brodnax Rodgers of Savannah, Ga.; Harry DeWitt Ruffin III of Montrose, Ala.; Steven Crawford Warren of Nashville; Grant Lloyd Willis of Baton Rouge; and Samuel Travis Winter of Mobile.

Program attendants were Alexa Branton Crane, Nikki Lynn Neely, Leslie Sims Carruth and Lucy Diana Evans.

A reception was held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple resides in Fairhope.
