Reader agrees with Sunday columnists

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank The Meridian Star for some excellent columns in Sunday’s edition.
Craig Ziemba’s “How to treat a traitor,” E. Harold Keyes’ “Why be taken for granted?” and Lenny Joiner’s “Ford’s woes symptomatic of bigger problem” are spot on! I would also like to express my attraction to the fair tax mentioned in Mr. Joiner’s article and presented in the book The FairTax Book by Neal Boortz and Congressman John Linder.
I would like to add to the debate by recommending we begin with a “Fair Budget” to be set as a fixed and never-changing percentage of the previous year’s gross national product. Let’s encourage our government to encourage our growth.
