MERIDIAN —



    Jessica Ann Crews of Meridian and Jason Michael Barham of Slidell, La., were married on Saturday, March 24, 2012, in New Orleans, La., with the Rev. Dr. Larry H. Hilliard of Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church in Meridian officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward L. Crews Jr. of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Michael R. Barham of Slidell.

    Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Hazel Breaux Huffman of Franklin, La., and the late Joe Weldon Huffman of George West, Texas, Mrs. Susie Pepper Crews of Baton Rouge, La., and the late Edward L. Crews Sr.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Sue Hamil Jolly of Carthage, and the late Mr. William Colton Jolly Sr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Earl Barham.

     The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory gown featuring an illusion halter neckline scalloped with cotton lace, and a deep V-back. The ruched bodice was decorated with hand- beaded precious stone corsage appliqués. A modified A-line skirt fell from the side pleating at the hip and held a chapel-length train.

     Attending the bride were her sisters, Katelyn Elizabeth Crews of Birmingham, Ala. maid of honor, and Laura Crews Ashley of Jackson, matron of honor.

     Bridesmaids were Erica Lea Barham of Baton Rouge, sister of the bridegroom, Anna Laura Deen and Jessica Lauren Lucovich, both of Meridian, Laura Kathryn Nichols of Boston, Mass., Katie Dyer Reaves of Lincoln, Ala., and Erica du Plessis Reeves of Jackson.

    The father of the bridegroom served as as best man.

    Groomsmen were Andrew Thomas Bramlett of Houston, Texas,  Thomas Alfred Pepin III of Southaven, Michael Paul Johnson, Kevin Michael Schenker, Kyle William Schenker and Jack Arnold Seybold III, all of Slidell, and Jordan Gregory Terry of Arlington, Tenn.

    Ushers were Jason Kirk Ashley of Jackson, Sean Joseph Bent of Slidell and Paul Ryan Whitmire of Houston.

     Program attendants were Elizabeth Claire Howard, cousin of the bride, and Samantha Lyn Morales.

    A view of the Mississippi River was the backdrop for the evening ceremony and reception in the Riverview Room in the Jackson Millhouse Brewery.

    The couple honeymooned in Nigril, Jamaica, and currently reside in Houston.
