Waters, Hagan





Christin Brooke Hagan and Joshua Lloyd Waters were married on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nashville, Tenn., with the Rev. Dr. Dan Phifer officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Marion Lloyd Waters of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Worthington Hagan Jr. of Franklin, Tenn.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Hagan Sr. of Nashville, Tenn. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Douglass Hood of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Tandy West Wilson Jr. of Columbus and the late Ray Waters Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ernest Mosley of Meridian.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Mark Beall, organist; Charles, Christa, Cana and Carson Mackrell. Tammy Bullock was vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a strapless gown that featured a sweetheart neckline and an asymmetrically draped silk satin bodice. The dress fell into a silk satin ball gown that flowed into a chapel-length train featuring a fan shape held by a Swarovski crystal brooch.

Kortney Fargason of Franklin, Tenn., was maid of honor. Other attendants were Mary Claire Jagor of Atlanta, Emily Louise Coakley of Nashville, Elizabeth Anne Duffy of Chicago, Kelly Lynn Ferguson of Loveland, Ohio, and Cori Eileen Waters of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were James Latham Farley, Richard Vaughan Waters, cousin of the bridegroom, David Alexander Malloy, Mitchell Kemp Mosley, cousin of the bridegroom, Trenton Webb Mosley, George Peyton Mosley and Winfield Liggett Waters, cousins of the bridegroom, all of Meridian, David McCauley Fields of Tiptonville, Tenn., Richard Neil Hagan of Savannah, Ga., Dickson Worthington Hagan of Fairview, Tenn., cousins of the bride.

Elizabeth Suzanne Williams of Meridian read the scripture readings.

A reception was held at Hillwood Country Club immediately following the ceremony. The couple was driven to the reception in a 1940 Cadillac which belongs to the bridegroom's father.

Following a honeymoon in Antigua, the couple resides in Meridian, where the bride is a customer service representative for Benefits Management Group and the bridegroom is a sales support manager for Waters International.
