Jacquelynne McKenzie and Ronald Lockett, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Charlene Chaney officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dorothy and the Rev. J.T. McKenzie and Willie and Stella Lockett.
Grandparents of the bride are Ben and Wilma McKenzie.
Music for the ceremony was provided by The Altman Brothers, saxophonist and keyboardist, and Gale Jones, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory gown featuring beaded embroidery that flowed into a train. For accessories, she wore diamond earrings with a matching necklace and a tiara with diamond accents.
Maids of honor were Evelyn Jenkins of Columbus, Ga., and Ferleander Burrage of Bailey.
Other attendants were Willie Burrage, Paris Wilson, Kathy Brown, Kim Williams, Rolanda Riley and Louise Moore.
Tiana Woodbury and Logan Nave of Meridian were flower girls.
Greg Nave of Meridian was best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Maurice Dixon, Antonio Dixon, Greg Nave, Donald Lockett, Daniel Nave, Anthony McWilliams and Ray McKenzie.
Kennarion Johnson of Meridian was ring bearer. Jaylon Johnson was Bible carrier.
Junior bride and junior bridegroom were Jhakiyhai McKenzie and LaMarkus McKenzie.
Program attendants were Willie Burrage and Semone McAlpine.
A reception was held at The Gathering Place following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Roseanne Boyd, Shemetria Moffite, Chastity Hunt, Kiya Grace, Yolanda Hall and Sonya Jones.
After a honeymoon in a cabin at Okattibbee Reservoir, the couple resides in Meridian.
