Elizabeth Michelle Ray and Lloyd Patrick Lewis, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, July 19, 2008, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Meridian with the Revs. Walton Womack Jones and F. Gregory Proctor officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. David Glenn Ray of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. William I. "Buddy" Lewis of Hattiesburg.

Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Mann Mitchell of Meridian and the late Dr. and Mrs. Bill Ray of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Hazel Patrick of Hattiesburg and the late Paul Patrick and Mr. and Mrs. Al Hillhouse of Florence, and the late Lloyd Lewis.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, organist; Rich Gaddis, trumpeter; Benjamin Johnson, cellist; Susie Johnson, flautist; and Ty Maisel, violinist.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore an ivory Dupioni silk gown that featured a sculptured strapless neckline of Chantilly lace and ribbons adorned with embellishments of clear sequins, mirror beads and seed pearls. The mermaid skirt fell into a chapel-length train. She wore a veil of silk illusion edged with pearls and mirror beads.

Matron of honor was Emily Mitchell Athanas of St. Louis. Other attendants were Brooke Morgan Chamblee of Birmingham, Ala., Kate Marie Ellmo of Atlanta, Julia Tate Heblon of Prattville, Ala., Meredith Long Kimbrell of Washington, D.C., Katie Yarbrough Naron of Oxford, Angela Rosa Payne of Laurel, Kristen Lee Richburg of Kingwood, Texas, Dixie Pigford Tibbetts of Meridian and Lauren Allyn White of Louisville.

Lillian Grace Athanas of St. Louis and Lillian Grace Langston of Meridian were flower girls.

The bridegroom's father was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were William Todd Carlisle of Little Rock, Ark., Hanson Haynes Hington of Daphne, Ala., William Irvin Lewis Jr. of Stafford, Va., Raiford Newell Long III of Meridian, Jay Connor Magee of McComb, Scott Gabriel Morrish of Atlanta, David Mitchell Ray and Jason Hood Strong, both of Jackson, and Michael Randolph Wimberly of Natchez.

John Paul Butrus and Thomas Kevin Butrus, both of Birmingham, Ala., and Jacob Edward Lewis of Stafford were ring bearers.

Readers were Amy Roebuck Frey and Melissa Kate Pearce.

A reception was held at Northwood Country Club.

After a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in Meridian.
