Leslie Renee Aycock and Joshua Lewis Mikell of Meridian were married on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Belcher officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Aycock Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mikell of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mildred Aycock and the late Ralph Aycock Sr. and Arlie Mae Adams and the late Robert Adams.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. William Mikell and the late Dilmas and Juanita Mosbey.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jodi Rutledge, vocalist; Suzette Landrum, pianist; and Jim Pickett, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white taffeta strapless gown featuring a side drape and metallic lace bodice. The trumpet skirt fell into a sweep train. She wore an elbow-length veil with a corded edge, anchored by a comb of clusters of rhinestones and pearls.
Christy Lynn Aycock of Meridian, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Other attendants were Ashley Elise Cook, Ashley Tolleson Dean, Ashlee Brooke Frazier, Susan Boatner Henry and Renae Danielle Pickard, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Matthew Ryan Adkins, Robert Carlton Aycock, Daniel O'Niel Hooper, John Michael Adam Reeves, Michael Joseph Tartt, Braxton Addison Boswell and Chad Wayne Isom, all of Meridian.
Program and registry attendant was Angela Nicole Woodall of Starkville.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Jessica Coffman, Judy Collins, Jayclynn Collins, Bonnie Tartt, Stacey Stater and Elenna Stater.
After a honeymoon in Panama City Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Meridian.
