Harper, Cain





Jenna Marie Cain of Lauderdale and Brandon Wayne Harper of Meridian were married on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Massey officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mike and Liz Cain of Lauderdale and Marty and Patsy Harper of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Lamoin Cain and the late Doris Platt and the late A.J. Platt and the late J.B. Cain.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Opal Harper, Lavelle Harper and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Chambers.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Cindy Barker, pianist; Joyce Tillery, organist; and Evan Hurley, violinist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a satin strapless gown featuring embroidery and crystal beading. The draped waist and A-line skirt fell into a chapel-length train.

Matron of honor was Jessica Young Campbell of Brandon. Other attendants were Kimberly Bridges and Taylor Johnson, both of Meridian; Kimberly McCarra of Quitman; and Haylie Smith of Lauderdale.

Patrick Harper of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jay Butler, Brian McCary, Michael Miller, Jeff Linton, and Steven Irby, all of Meridian; and Jordan Cain of Lauderdale.

Program attendant was Jessica Harper.

A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Katie Irby, Renae Savell, Heather Harper and Stacy Chambers.

After a honeymoon in Panama City Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Meridian.
