Christina Follis and Nicholas Minnick, both of Meridian, were married on Friday, June 19, 2009, in Fredericksburg, Va.
Parents of the couple are Helen Follis and Jim and Marty Follis of Meridian and Marie and Bill Brown of King George, Va. and Ron Minnick of Maryland.
Given in marriage by her father and her son, Tyler Cowley, the bride wore a buttercream empire waistline dress with spaghetti straps embellished with sequins.
Maid of honor was A.T. Thomas of Lawrenceville, Ga.
Other attendants were Lori Follis Syner and Rae Eger, both of Fredericksburg, and Meredith Follis of Laurel.
Kya Thomas of Lawrenceville was flower girl.
Reuben Powell of Fredericksburg was best man. Groomsmen were Joe Minnick, Tyler Minnick, Dre Kelly and Legend Kelly, all of King George, and Alan Follis of Laurel.
Cameron Trivett of King George was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the home of Lori Syner, sister of the bride.
The couple resides in Kewanee and will later enjoy a honeymoon cruise in October.
