Hamrick, Cleveland





Clancy Lessine Cleveland of Union and Dustin Cole Hamrick of Quitman were married on Saturday, June 27, 2009, at County Line Baptist Church in Union with the Rev. David Jay officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Cindy Cleveland of Union. She is the granddaughter of Gene and Lessine Rice of Union and Wilma Cleveland of Forest and the late A.T. Cleveland.

The bridegroom is the son of Tommy and Martha Hamrick of Quitman. He is the grandson of Ray and Jane Thead of Quitman and Gloria Hamrick of Stonewall and the late Jack Hamrick.

Nuptial music was presented by Rose Longwitz, pianist, and James Earl Smith, violinist. Soloists were Bailee Viverette and Lindsay Atkins. A duet was pre-recorded by Cindy Cleveland and Janet Jay.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin strapless A-line gown with a beaded corset bodice.

Kim Cleveland, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Dana Apperson of Philadelphia, Lindsay Atkins of Hickory, Kathryn Barney of Sebastopol, Amanda Hamilton of Edinburg, Sarah Peeples of Louisville and Ashley Rigdon of Murray, Ky.

Junior bridesmaid was Abigail Ellzey of Laurel, cousin of the bridegroom.

Ana Vereen of Chattanooga, Tenn., cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man.

Bridegrooms were Christopher Hamrick of Quitman, brother of the bridegroom; John Ishee of Meridian, cousin of the bridegroom; Matthew Boone of Little Rock; Brandon Bowen of Aberdeen; Blake Pippin of Gulfport; and Johnathan Sigrest of Forest.

Junior bridegroom was Bricen Vereen of Chattanooga, cousin of the bride.

Ring bearer was Garrett Rice of Loxley, Ala., cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Barry Howard of Southaven, Clark Hunter of Brandon, Jay Jayroe of Philadelphia, Billy Scrimpshire of Meridian and Yancy Whitaker of Quitman.

A reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church following the ceremony. Assisting were Lauren Beckham, Rebekah Crenshaw, Laura Giles, Amber Smith, all of Union, and Hannah Luke of Philadelphia. Reception favors were distributed by Mallory Malone and Ansley Rigby, both of Union.

Amber Smith and Gabrielle Boone attended the guest registry and programs. Wedding director was Sharman Malone and assistant director was Marley Burns.

After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Little Rock.
