MERIDIAN —
Stephanie Erica Ray of Cuba, Ala., and Rodney Blake Kelley of Samson, Ala., were married Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 6 p.m., on the beach at Fort Morgan, Ala., with the Rev. Sam Trotten of Samson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ms. Merrie Harrell Ray of Cuba, Ala., Mr. Stephen Craig Ray Sr. of Livingston, Ala., and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Kelley of Samson, Ala.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Harrell of Cuba, Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Castleberry of Livingston and the late Mr. Charles Edcar Ray of Centre, Ala.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. James C. Shortt and the late Mr. Shortt, and Mr. and Mrs. Hardie Kelley, all of Samson.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
Maid of honor was Paige Ray of Cuba, sister of the bride.
Miss Kendal Wallace of Jay, Fla., was flower girl.
Justin Kelley of Samson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.
Groomsman was Stevie Ray of Cuba, brother of the bride.
Master Walker Wallace of Jay was ring bearer.
A reception was held at “The Cuban” family beach house following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception was Patty McIlwain.
After a honeymoon in Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Kathleen, Ga.
