MERIDIAN —
Victoria Leigh Lemmermann of Caledonia and Samuel Thomas Bobo of Collinsville were married Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at First Presbyterian Church of Columbus, with the Rev. Tom Bryson officiating.
Parents of the couple are Alan and Patricia Lemmermann of Caledonia and Rick and Susan Bobo of Collinsville.
Grandparents of the bride are Roy and Pat Lemmermann of Steens, and the late Robert and Bernice King of Smyrna, Ga.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Billy Wayne and Pat Ethridge of Collinsville, and Charles H. and Mavis Bobo of Pearl.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jane Hunt, pianist, and Rick Rogers and Rachel Hurt, vocalists.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a champagne French taffeta strapless gown with a wrapped bodice. Swarovski crystals adorned the neckline, the lace-up back and asymmetrical overskirt.
Maid of honor was the bride’s younger sister, Christina Lemmermann, also of Caledonia. Other attendants were Karen Muschler and Jillian Muschler, both of Woodbridge, Va., and cousins of the bride, and Amy Bobo of Collinsville, sister of the bridegroom.
Anna K. Ethridge, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Ryan Ethridge of Starkville, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
The father of the bridegroom was best man. Groomsmen were Lee Rigdon of Morton, Nathan Ethridge of Collinsville, cousin of the bridegroom, and Ken Ethridge of Starkville, uncle of the bridegroom.
Kyle Ethridge of Starkville, cousin of the bridegroom, served as an usher.
A reception was held immediately after the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church. Assisting were Carrington Lott, Sarah Margaret Lott, Katy Whitman, Shelly Clair Dornan, Jamie Dornan, Meg Butler, Barbara Taylor and Sue Hatcher.
After a honeymoon cruise, the couple resides in West Point.
