Swistek, Carucci

MERIDIAN —

 

    Bonnie Elizabeth Carucci and Nicholas Kyle Swistek, both of Meridian, were united in marriage on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Community Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Rev. Carlis Clinton officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Carucci of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Swistek also of Meridian.

    Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Williams of Hickory, the late James V. Carucci of Staten Island, N.Y. and the late Bonnie L. Rowzee of Decatur.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Swistek of Meridian, Eugene Weir of Meridian and Ann Cochran of Philadelphia.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Kim Black, soloist, who was accompanied by Michelle Seth, pianist, and Dusty Culpepper, violinist.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown featuring a mermaid silhouette with a sweetheart strapless neckline. Pleating overlays the V-shape empire bodice with embroidered and beaded accents.

    Matron of honor was Anna Davidson of Aberdeen. Other attendants were Kelsey Harris of Hickory, and Stephanie Price, Carrie Croley, Bethany Linton and Amy Hamilton, all of Meridian.

    Paiton Gaylor of Meridian and Madelyn Thornton of Newton were flower girls.

    Luke Swistek of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Kevin Johnson, Eugene Turner and Ryan Armes, all of Meridian, Ryan Felder of Philadelphia and Hayden Pace of Newton.

    A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.

    After honeymooning locally, the couple resides in Hickory.
