MERIDIAN —     Cayce Ann Bond of Hickory and Adam Chandler Lane of Madison were married on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Hickory Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Anderson and the Rev. Dr. Ronald Mumbower officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Davis and Mary Ann Bond of Hickory and Jack and Tammy Lane of Madison.

    Grandparents of the bride are Cayce and Mary Bufkin of Hickory and the late E.J. and Pauline Bond of Lake.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Clinton and Juanita Chandler of Saraland, Ala., and Wallace and Myrtle Watts and the late Billy Mack Lane of Biloxi.

    Music before and during the ceremony was provided by Maureen Sellers, pianist, and Barry Germany, organist. Vocalists for the ceremony were Sandra Arrington, Pat Ross, Pam Steverson and Bob Strebeck.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown featuring a strapless neckline accented with pearls.

    Matron of honor was Allison Gressett Petty of Philadelphia. Maid of honor was Rebecca Ann Adams of Houston. Other attendants were Catherine Brand of Hickory, Lauren Dove of Jackson, Amy Hardy of Madison, Jessica McDowell of Meadville and Whitney Lane Sephton of Brandon. Monica Prechter served as bridal assistant.

    Ava Espey of Chunky and Kyler Clayton Walker served as flowergirl and ring bearer.

    The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Chad Bond of Hickory, Chris Bond of Jackson, Clinton Chandler of Saraland, Austin Lane of Madison, Bryan Mason of Los Angeles, Calif. and Alan Mumbower of Pearl.

    Mr. and Mrs. Troy Brand Jr. of Hickory served as wedding greeters. The wedding was directed by Suzanne Ross.

    A reception was held at the historic Newton Railroad Depot in Newton. Music for the reception was provided by Hunter Gibson Trio.

    After a honeymoon at the Moon Palace Resort in the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Jackson.
