MERIDIAN —     Kimberly Brooke Newell of Collinsville and Toby Justin Campbell of Bailey were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009. The 6 p.m. ceremony was conducted by Bro. Dano Rainer, uncle of the bride, at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.

    The bride is the daughter of Scott and Donna Kay Newell of Collinsville. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Rainer and the late Donald Rainer of Collinsville and Harold Newell and the late Lynn Newell of Meridian.

    The bridegroom is the son of Toby and Lonna Campbell of Bailey.

    He is grandson of the late Sara Lay of Jackson and Jackie Wallace of Mt. Olive.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, pianist, Ty Maisel, violinist, Tammy Luke, violist, Stephanie Maisel, cellist, Rich Gaddis, trumpeter, Debbie Young, flautist, and Suzanne Cain and James Seay, vocalists.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory sculptured strapless A-line gown of point d'espirit net with appliqued Alencon lace. The gown featured a scalloped empire and wide border surrounding the hemline and chapel-length train.

    Bailey Katherine Newell, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Elizabeth Rainer and Allyson Leigh Rainer, both of Silverhill, Ala. and cousins of the bride; Haley Lauren Campbell of Bailey, sister of the bridegroom; and Kristin Cole Watson, Jessy Dickson Smith and Bobbie Diane Harmon, all of Meridian.

    Bralynn Rainer Newell, niece of the bride, served as flower girl.

    Joshua Tanner Rainer, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.

    The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Donald Bradford Newell of Newton, brother of the bride, Nicholas Murray Baughman and Joshua Michael Snider, both of Bailey, Ryan Heath Clay of DeKalb, and Richard Marshall McAlister and Joshua James Espey, both of Martin.

    Ushers were William Tyler Rainer, cousin of the bride, Brandon Ellis McGarity, Matthew Austin Smith and Robert McNeel Harmon.

    Program attendants were Anna Dallas, Haley Daughtery McGarity and Natalie Goldman Maddox.

    A reception was held at Meridian Little Theatre following the ceremony.

    After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Collinsville.
