Jackson, Turner

MERIDIAN —     Shannon Turner of DeKalb and Joe Jackson of Meridian were married Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at Hamasa Shriner Building in Marion, with the Revs. Charles Johnson and Odell Hopkins officiating.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Von Easter, Terrance Davis and Keisha Clay-Boyd.

    The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Adrian Turner of Washington, D.C.

    Matron of honor was Daphne Sanders of Meridian.

    Maid of honor was Stephanie Seale of Meridian.

    Other attendants were Laura Odom, Taisha Brown, Terriona Hicks and Brittany Hicks, all of DeKalb, Pat Jackson of Panama City, Fla., and TaTa Vega Jackson of Columbus, Ga.,

    Brynesha Bourrage, Ashanti Moore of Meridian, and Tiauna Sudberry and Rikkisha Jackson were flower girls.

    Schumphert McIntosh and Larry Parker of Meridian were best men.

    Groomsmen and ushers were Darrell Turner and Mack Turner, both of DeKalb, Terrell Bush, Jerrod Sanders and Robert Morton, all of Meridian, and Bobby Jackson of Columbus.

    Darrion Turner of DeKalb was ring bearer.

    Program attendants were Teairia Powe and LaPorsha Rhone.

    A reception was held following the ceremony. Assisting were the bride’s brother and his staff from Washington, D.C.

    After a weeklong honeymoon cruise to The Bahamas, the couple resides in Meridian.
