Today

• 10 a.m.-2 p.m. — Poplar Springs Elementary is having it's 2009 Fall Festival.  The community is invited to come and participate in all the activities.  There will be a cake walk, raffle and prizes, blow ups, and more!  For a fun Halloween Day join us at Poplar Springs Elementary School campus. Buy tickets at the entrance.

• 3 p.m.- until—Houston Baptist Church presents a walk through drama, Judgement Day 2009. There is no charge for this event. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are suggested for large groups. For more information, call 601-649-4349.

• 6 p.m.— The Meridian Symphony Orchestra presents the 2009-2010 Series "Brave the Elements" Part 2 "Water" at the MSU Riley Center. The concert will be dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. A pre-concert reception and silent auction hosted by the CAREousel Breast Cancer Support Group will begin at 6 p.m. A Concert lecture will begin at 6:30 with the concert following at 7:30.
