MERIDIAN — Today

    • 9 a.m.-1 p.m. —AARP Tax-Aide volunteers will E-file taxes free for low- and middle- income taxpayers. This service will be available at The Salvation Army Activity Center, 120 6th Avenue (B Street and 6th Ave). Please bring a copy of your previous year (2008) tax return, 2009 tax forms including property taxes paid, picture ID, and Social Security Cards for all family members. First come, first served.     • 10 a.m.-1 p.m.— Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church will hold their Annual Spring Food Festival with Shrimp Plates will be held at  the church. $7 a plate. There will be face painting, a bubble wrap stomp and an inflatable moonbounce for the children. Also featuring music from the Daydreamers throughout the day.
