Reputed gang members sentenced in south Miss.

GULFPORT, Miss. —  

Authorities say two reputed gang members have been sentenced to prison this week on federal charges in south Mississippi.

A news release Tuesday from U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis says the members of the Simon City Royals street gang were sentenced this week in U.S. District Court in Gulfport.

The news release says 24-year-old Brett Vincent Charbonneau of D'Iberville was sentenced to serve more than three years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The release says 24-year-old Johnathon Edward Robbins of Gulfport was sentenced to serve more than 2-1/2 years for distribution of cocaine.
