Melissa Blair Manning and Eric Charles Miles, both of Meridian were married on Saturday, June 10, 2006, at Briarwood Country Club with the Honorable Judge Robert W. Bailey officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward William Manning Jr. of Meridian and Richard Harold Miles of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Helen M. Newell of Meridian and the late David C. Newell Sr. and Ruth M. Manning of Mt. Olive and the late Edward William Manning Sr.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin O. Miles of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barlow of Kansas City, Mo.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Susie Johnson, flautist; Benjamin Johnson, cellist and vocalist; Jenna Johnson, guitarist and vocalist and Kelly Katherine Johnson, vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory silk Duchess-Satin box pleated gown. The strapless bodice featured a drop-waistline that fell into a sweep train. She wore a candlelight finger tip length veil that was edged in a matching ivory satin.
Blakely Michelle Manning, of Meridian was maid of honor.
Other attendant was Mary Madison Miles, of Meridian, daughter of the bridegroom.
Maci Blair Manning and Maggie Carolyne Manning, both of Meridian, were flower girls.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
Groomsmen and ushers were Smitty Smith, Brett Newell Manning and Jonathan Kinard Miles all of Meridian.
Mason Blaine Daniels of Meridian, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Briarwood Country Club following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Laura Elizabeth Lang, Cynthia Michelle Gates, Emily Breland McCary and Melissa Jodi Brents.
After a honeymoon in Destin, Fla., the couple resides in Meridian.
