Kemper County couldn't keep up with visiting Forest on Tuesday night, as the Bearcats outscored the Wildcats in every quarter on their way to a 90-83 win.

Forest (9-6) led 22-21 after one quarter and increased its lead to 43-40 at the break. The Bearcats led 61-55 heading into the fourth behind Lavadius Lyle's 29 points.

LaColtan Bester led Kemper County (9-6) with 26 points, while Devonta Pollard added 18 and Julius Newton finished with 16.

The Wildcats travel to Enterprise on Friday.

Allowing just three points in the first half, Kemper County declawed the Forest Lady Bearcats on Tuesday night.

The Lady Wildcats (13-4) raced out to a 14-1 lead after the first quarter and led Forest (8-9) 32-3 at the break, as Chadisty Hickman led three double-figure scorers with 17. Alondra Jefferson and RoTasha Windom each added 11.

Kemper County visits Enterprise on Friday.

After controlling play for three quarters, the Panthers pulled away from the Tigers in the fourth, outscoring Northeast 11-1 in the final period.

Prior to the late shutdown, Quitman (12-4, 4-1) led 40-27 on the strength of a 17-6 first-quarter advantage.

The Panthers, who visit Laurel on Friday, were led by Kegan Houston's 14 points. Phylandus Powe added 12 points and Phillip Powe scored 11.

A rough third quarter cost the host Lady Panthers on Tuesday night.

Trailing Northeast 28-22 at the half, Quitman was outscored 21-6 in the decisive third quarter.

The Lady Panthers, who fell to 7-9 and 2-3 in the division, were paced by Elyssa McKenzie's 11 points.

Quitman travels to Laurel on Friday night.

The Lady Jaguars outscored visiting Sylva Bay 16-7 in the first quarter before knotting them the rest of the way Tuesday night.

Leading the way for WA (16-3) was Katrina Lofton with 14 points, while Stevie Farrar added 10.

Sylva Bay was led by Jenna Ely's 10.

After a tight game for three quarters, the Rebels pulled away from the host Yellowjackets on Tuesday night, outscoring Union 23-11 in the fourth quarter.

Union, which led 16-7 after the first quarter, rallied back from a 32-28 halftime deficit to pull within 49-48 after three periods behind 20 points from Mike Holley.

Scott Central was led by Kendrick McKee's 25 points.

Union (6-12) travels to Forest on Friday.

After trailing for one quarter Tuesday night, Scott Central ran away from the Lady Yellowjackets.

Leading 14-10 through the first quarter Union (9-10) was outscored 8-2 in the second quarter and 17-4 in the third quarter as Scott Central jumped ahead 35-20.

Yancey Tillman led Union with 11 points, while Delaina Wilson added 10.

The Lady Yellowjackets visit Forest on Friday.

Wayne County broke open a first-quarter tie, outscoring homestanding Laurel 19-2 in the second quarter to grab a 35-18 lead at the break. Wayne County, which improved to 13-4, upped its lead to 61-26 after threes.

Takera Mitchell led Wayne, which travels to Northeast Lauderdale on Friday, with 13 points.

After scoring three goals against Oak Grove on Friday night, Meridian's Dallas Hannah added two more goals against the Warriors on Tuesday at home.

Behind goals from Chelsea Abston and Lainie Simcox, Southeast grabbed a 2-1 halftime lead Tuesday at Philadelphia.

Playing with the lead, the Lady Tigers (7-3) added second-half goals from Camilla Sorensen and Mia Nederby in pulling away. Paige Sheppard was in goal for Southeast, which visits Newton County on Thursday.

West Lauderdale scored two goals in the first half and added two more in the second half to grab a 4-0 lead Tuesday before Kosciusko added two goals late.

Nathan Hodges scored the Knights' first goal off a corner kick and Jacob Daniels added another corner kick for West in the first half.

Kaleb Ketchens scored off a Hodges' assist in the second half before Lyle Daughtry scored off a Jackson Blue assist as the Knights improved to 10-1-2 overall and 2-0 in the division.

West travels to Caldeonia on Friday.

West Lauderdale raced to a 3-0 halftime lead Tuesday against the visiting Lady Whippets behind a goal from Baleigh Germany and two goals from Hannah Scott, with two assists from Kayte Ford and one from Ashlyn Pope.

In the second half, Carly Milling added a goal from Germany and Erika Joyner netted two goals on assists from Ellen Joyner and Kelly Covert.

The Lady Knights (6-1, 2-0) visit Caledonia on Friday.

The Vikings got a game-high 22 points from Hamza Al Sabahi and toppled visiting Russell Christian Academy Monday night at CA's Varner Gymnasium in Macon.

Central also got 16 points from Ferris McGuire and six points from Rowdy Rigdon as the Vikings improved to 12-5 on the season.

CA was scheduled to visit Calvary Christian Tuesday night.

Nate Hodges scored a pair of goals for West Lauderdale.

Behind four goals in each half, the Lady Cougars blew away the Lady Tornadoes on Monday. Brittany Reed led Newton County with two goals, one in each half, and a pair of assists. Also scoring goals for the Lady Cougars (11-7, 6-0) were Kelsey Tadlock, Rachel Morgan, Abby Foreman, Catherine Brand, Polly Vaughn and Erin Thornton.

Philadelphia's Sadie Shields scored midway through the half to pull the Lady Tornadoes within 6-1.
