Lamar's explosive passing combination of Witt Haggard and Bo Bidgood will represent the Raiders in the MAIS All-Star game Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at Mississippi College. Haggard and Bidgood will play for the North squad, coached by Jackson Academy's David Sykes.
Haggard, a senior quarterback, has thrown 3,332 yards and 43 touchdowns on the season with only three interceptions. He has also added 804 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns after accumulating more than 500 total yards last week against Marshall Academy in the Class AA playoffs.
Haggards' top target in Lamar's high-octane offense is Bidgood. The senior has hauled in 84 catches for 1,635 yards and 19 touchdowns. He has also rushed for two scores.

The Wildcats led 30-22 at halftime and pushed that advantage to 53-39 after three quarters on the road Tuesday.
Meridian, though, was unable to hold on as Lanier exploded for 38 fourth-quarter points behind Obarcus Taylor's game-high 19. Greg Lee added 16, Alex Thompson had 11 and Quinton Watkins had 10 for Lanier.
The Wildcats, who fell to 3-2, were led by Sidney Coleman's 15. Matthew Hurn and Lakendrick Sims each added 11.
Meridian hosts Tupelo on Saturday.

Bay Springs 59
The Panthers rallied on the road Tuesday, outscoring Bay Springs in both the third and fourth quarters.
Quitman trailed 34-33 at halftime before grabbing a 49-41 lead heading into the final period.
Greg Moore scored 21 to lead Quitman, which also received 15 points from Phylandus Powe and 11 from Phillip Powe.
Bay Springs was paced by Johnathan Ducksworth's game-high 26. Ronald Payton added 14 and Demond Hughes scored 13 for Bay Springs.
Quitman (3-0) is off until the Wildcat Shootout on Dec. 5.

Quitman used a 31-point fourth quarter as it came from behind to knock of Bay Springs on the road Tuesday night.
The Panthers trailed 47-40 after three quarters.
Quitman had four players in double figures as Relanda McFarland led the way with 22 points. Porsche Jones and Elyssa McKenzie each had 14, while A'teyuna Doby added 12.
Bay Springs was led by Landyn Thomas' game-high 27 points and Shandon Hughes dropped in 17.
Quitman will be back in action Dec. 5 in the Meridian Classic.

The Bulldogs overcame a slow start on the road Tuesday, with a strong second half.
Clarkdale trailed 11-6 after the first quarter and was still behind 13-11 at the half. However, the Bulldogs secured a 26-23 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Crystal Clay scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Clarkdale, which improved to 3-1. Charmane Tims added 11 points for the Bulldogs.
Seminary was led by Katie Crosby's 10 points.
Clarkdale's game Friday against Ninih Waiya has been postponed due to Nanih Waiya's football playoff game. The Bulldogs are now off until visiting Noxapater on Dec. 1.

The Vikings' halftime lead disappeared in the third quarter Tuesday as Winston poured in 29 points in the period.
Trailing 30-19 heading into the break, Winston emerged from halftime on fire and grabbed a 48-42 lead following the decisive quarter.
Winston (5-1) got 16 points from Barbara McMillan and 10 from Cassie Thomas.
Central (0-2) was led by Alex Dawkins' 23.
The Vikings travel to Kemper Academy on Friday.

The Rebels lost their first game of the season Friday at East Rankin Academy.
ERA doubled up Leake 20-10 in the first quarter and never looked back, opening up a 47-29 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Brooke Rhodes scored a game-high 27 to pace ERA.
Leake, meanwhile, was led by Jenny Wilbanks' 16 points and 11 rebounds. Emily Kea added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Rebels, who fell to 3-1.

Leake rebounded from its first loss by running away from visiting Heidelberg on Saturday.
The Rebels led 23-7 after the first quarter and 37-11 at halftime.
Emily Kea was the lone Rebel to score in double figures with 15 points. Kea also had five steals and five rebounds. Amber Pierce added nine points and seven rebounds.

Southeast notched its first win of the season Tuesday night as it blew past Choctaw Central.
The Tigers (1-2) led 8-2 after the first half.
Mauricio Martinez scored four goals to lead Southeast. Brandon Bowen also had two goals on the night.
Southeast will be in action Friday night as it hosts Neshoba Central.

Southeast flexed some defensive muscle as it shut out Choctaw Central Tuesday night.
The Tigers got a huge night from Kennedy McReynolds as she had three goals in the contest. Elizabeth Mata also had a goal and Rayra Khouny and Trisha Sparks had an assist apiece.
Southeast will host Neshoba Central Friday night.
