MERIDIAN — Southeast Lauderdale High School moved to 15-6 on the season, as the Tigers cruised past Philadelphia 10-0 Monday night.
Southeast got off to a fast start, scoring five runs in the first inning to put the Tornadoes away early. Denisha Knight led Southeast, going 3-3 on the night. Lauren Yeager, Brianna Roulier, Katie Dawson and Dori Timms all had two hits, as the Tigers rallied for 14 hits on the night.
Taylor Powell got the win for the Tigers, as she shut out the Tornadoes over four innings.
