MERIDIAN — The Southeast Lauderdale baseball team rolled past Scott Central14-2 in the Lake Tournament on Monday.
Playing at Northeast Lauderdale, the Tigers scored five runs in the first and tacked on two in the second, three in the third and fifth frames and one in the fourth. Scott Central scored one run in the first and third innings.
Southeast (5-3) banged out 12 hits, led by Jeremy Leach, Ledarious Clark, T.J. Pope and Brooks Linton with two hits apiece. Clark homered, as did Colby Ramey, who delivered a three-run blast for his lone hit. Pope had two doubles.
Clayton Williamson and Johnny McGee each had two hits and double for the Rebels, who fell to 5-3.
Keenum Dawson (2-0) earned the win for the Tigers, while Williamson suffered the loss for Scott Central.
Southeast faces Neshoba Central at 7 p.m. today at Northeast.

NE Lauderdale 5
Magee rallied past the host Trojans with a four-run fifth inning Monday in the Lake Tournament.
After Magee scored three in the first, Northeast answered with two of its own and the Trojans then took the lead with two more runs in the fourth before Magee's big inning.
Cory Bass took the loss for the Trojans.

Forest 4
Northeast scored runs in each of the first three innings of its second game Monday in the Lake Tournament, holding off Forest.
The Bearcats scored one in the first and three in the third, but Northeast plated two runs in the first two innings and then added a lone tally in the third for the win.
Ethan Holloway got the decision for the Trojans, while Ismael Reyes picked up a save. The Trojans (8-2) were led offensively by Zack Johnson's double.
Northeast faces Ethel at 12:15 p.m. today.

Enterprise 4
Forest 0
Tyler Copeland threw a complete-game one-hitter Monday in the Lake Tournament. He struck out seven in leading the Bulldogs past the Bearcats.
Powering Enterprise' offense, which scored one in the third, one in the fifth and two in the sixth, was Maxwell Harmon with two hits, including a double, and an RBI. Also registering two hits were Tyler Powell and Ethan Howell. Ethan Williams, Seth Kidd and Ryan Moore all had RBI singles.
The Bulldogs (5-3) face Union at 6 p.m. today at Lake.
