Kedrianna Cole scored four goals and the Northeast Lauderdale girls soccer team blanked Newton County 4-0 on Tuesday.
Jamie Matthews and Kaytee Nelson each had an assist for the Trojans, who improved to 6-5-1.

Dennis Miles, a Dandy Dozen selection by the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Wildcats in their division opener Tuesday.
Jaricus Hubbard and DXXXX Brewster, each added 12 points for Meridian, which improved to 14-4 overall. The Wildcats host Oak Grove on Friday.

Dylan Nolan led three Warriors in double figures as Russell rolled Tuesday.
Nolan scored 17 points and had five steals to pace RCA, which improved to 15-3 overall and 5-2 in division play. Tyler Bolden added 16 points, six steals and six assists, while Kyle Russell finished with 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.
The Warriors play Mt. Salus Christian on Thursday.

Meridian walked away with a slim win Tuesday.
Kayla Gordon led the charge with 19 points for MHS. Alexia McDonald led Petal with 16
points. The win moves the Wildcats to 15-2 overall and 1-0 in division play. The loss drops Petal to 12-6 overall. The Wildcats will be back in action Friday at home against Oak Grove.

The win moves the Panthers to 11-4 overall as DeQuain Stanley led the offensive push for Quitman with 25 points. Brandon Davis led Newton County with 14 points.

Ashley Dunn led the Bulldogs with 16 points. The win improves Clarkdale's record to 4-10. The Bulldogs hit the hardwood Friday at Southeast Lauderdale.

Cobe Gates led Leake with 13 points while BeCedric Hoye finished with 12 points. Daniel Cameron led the Bulldog effort with 16 points while Henry Scott had 14 points.
