Looking for Classmates

July 8

• 10 a.m. - until — Stuart Copeland family reunion will be held at the log cabin off Q.V. Sykes Road, (formerly Lovers’ Lane). July 22

• A reunion is scheduled for September in Washington, D.C., for Navy and Marine Corps shipmates who served on the USS Columbus CA-74/CG-12 from 1944 through 1976, and the USS Columbus (SSN-762) past and present.     • 10 a.m. — Dixon Day at the Neshoba County Fairgrounds. All former students, teachers and families are invited to attend. Lunch will be served picnic-style. Call Patsy Davis, (601) 656-3795.



    May 21

    • 9:30 a.m. — Descendants of the Rev. William Preston Long and Melinda Harris Long will hold their 88th annual reunion at the Moselle Community Center. Bring pictures, family memorabilia, genealogy and a filled picnic basket. Call Barbara Long Knotts at (601) 477-8646.



    June 9-10

    • 10 a.m.-4 p.m. — Tisdale Family Reunion at Kiroli Park Lodge in West Monroe, La. Park entrance fee is $1. Bring food and drinks; coffee will be provided.



    July 13-16

    • The National Turnage Reunion at Battlefield Inn, 41371 Interstate 20, North Frontage Road in Vicksburg. There are 40 rooms reserved; the deadline to reserve a room is May 31. Call (800) 359-9363.
