Sunday, Feb. 10

    11 a.m. — The Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church of Jachin, Ala., will observe the second anniversary of their pastor and first lady, the Rev. Ecclesiastes and Lady Christina Goodwin. The speaker for the 11 a.m. morning worship service will be Rev. Christopher McSwain of Starkville. The anniversary message will be delivered by Rev. Alphonso Bowen, pastor of the New Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church of Nanafilia, Ala. He will be accompanied by his church choir. Everyone is invited to attend.



Friday, Feb. 16

    6:30 p.m. — As part of The Best is Yet to Come Anniversary Celebration 2013, honoring pastors Apostle Everett and Prophetess LouAnn Heidelberg, White Stone Baptist Church in Lawrence, invites everyone to attend the church's Anniversary/Valentine's Banquet 2013. It will take place in the WSBC Family Life Center. The church will host a formal/semi-formal experience featuring fine dining, anointed musical entertainment, and fun all in set in a Christian environment. Sunday, Feb. 17

    11 a.m. — White Stone Baptist Church of Lawrence, Miss., invites you to "The Best Is Yet to Come Pastoral Anniversary Celebration 2013" honoring Pastors Apostle Everett and Prophetess LouAnn Heidelberg. Our theme is "MOVING FORWARD: Resting in the Lord!" We begin with 11 a.m. worship service featuring guest speaker, Pastor Terry Weems of Columbia, Miss.     3 p.m. — The Missionary Society of New Hope Baptist Church will present the annual Black History Program in the church's sanctuary. Mrs. Carole Boykin, wife of Interim Pastor Rev. Friday, Feb. 22

    7 p.m. — AW Productions presents at the Waynesboro Auditorium "Love With No Limits," a gospel stage play written and directed by Alonzo Williams. This inspirational play production deals

with feel life situations, and explains why we should never put a

limit on love. It's great for the whole family and is filled with

singing, comedy and more. Starring: Ava Parker, Carmen Rankin, Jamie

Whimley, Johnathon Hardaway, Jim Martin, Lakken Johnikin Cheryl Fluker and many more. Musical appearances by Voices of Victory. Cost of tickets are $6 in advance, and $10 at the door. Group rates are

Saturday, Feb. 23

    8:30 a.m. — The theme for the 16th Annual Cooper’s Chapel Ladies Conference will be “Hidden Joy In A?Dark Corner.” The guest speaker will be Wendy Blight with Proverbs 31 Ministries. Registration

begins at 7:45 a.m. Tickets are $15 and include admission, breakfast and lunch. Door prizes will be given away.?Cooper’s Chapel is located on Highway 511East of Quitman.



March 3

    2 p.m. — Good Hope M.B. Church cordially invites the public to attend the anniversary of the Rev. and Sister George Smith Jr. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Gary Moore, pastor at Corinth M.B. Church of Newton.

    2 p.m. — New Salem M.B. Church in the Whynot community will celebrate its annual choir day. All churches, choirs and praise teams are asked to attend. Everyone is invited to the celebration.



March 24, 2012

    3 p.m. — Two-time GMA Dove award winning Southern Gospel Group Karen Peck and New River will be in concert at Northside Church of the Nazarene, located across from the North Hills Post Office.
